African Inspired Birthday Gift

The recipient is turning 65 and is heading to South Africa on a wonderful vacation and adventure.  The recipient is bold and requested something different.

I used cello to wrap the top of the gift but did not use it to wrap the base.  I wanted to ensure that the base is clearly visible.  Why hide the best part of the gift?
